Tiny Tots

Play, learn and grow together

Tiny Tots is about play for children from newborns to preschoolers.

Research has shown that play is essential for children of all ages. It has shown that it develops healthy neurological pathways in the brain of a child, as they explore their world through play.

Play can be child-led or it can be age-based. At Tiny Tots we have a good mix of both.

We support parents about how play works for their child, through texture play, music, interactive and directed play, working on the 5 senses, touch, listen, sight, smell and taste.

Tiny Tots is all about supporting a child development, we have a midwife and maternal child and family nurse, available at each session, to answer any questions and offer advice and support.

A clinic for child assessment is available during playgroup times.

For parents and carers there is additional support available. As we all know parenting can be challenging at times.

A grandparent support program is run within the playgroup structure. If you just need a listening ear, or want to make supportive new friends then Tiny Tots can help.

We would love to see you! 🙂

Every Sunday from 10am. A ‘drop-in playgroup’ finishes at 11.30. An opportunity for partners to come along too.

Open public and school holidays.

Child led free play, focus on gross motor and social development. Lots of fun/adventurous play opportunities. Simple craft activities. BYO snacks for children. Older siblings welcome.

Parent-supervised play. RN/Midwife in attendance. Parents: Coffee and tea in cafe-style eating area. Barista coffee available (if you’re early). Indoor/outdoor cafe at our Hope Connect Cafe for light snacks.

Feel free to drop in to Tiny Tots – we would love to see you!
